about me
Mike Scotland B.Sc
Publisher/Editor
I learned to dive in 1976 and became an active PADI MSDT Instructor in 1982 in Sydney. I trained more than one thousand divers. I have been photographing underwater for most of this time. I have done seven thousand three hundred dives across the Pacific, the Great Barrier Reef and around Sydney. My diving passions are Marine Biology and Underwater photography and now being publisher and editor of Dive Log Australasia magazine. I am looking forward to the challenge on making Dive Log the most popular scuba/wreck/tech diving magazine in Australasia.
I use my photos to create well researched articles on marine life that help divers and ocean lovers to learn a little more about their anatomy, behaviour and lifestyles. My aim is to educate divers so that they can celebrate the beauty of the ocean and so help to save it from the threat of overfishing and other forms of human folly.
